Lucknow, March 27, 2015: Joining Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call for his 'Swachh Bharat Mission', India's leading consumer products maker Dabur India Ltd today announced a mega cleanliness drive in the city of Lucknow. The campaign will kick-start by adopting public conveniences at the renowned Janpath Market in Hazratganj. Under this partnership, Dabur will initiate the Cleaning & Maintenance, Sanitation & Hygiene Check at these public toilets, besides providing free usage of these toilets to all. 
 
Dabur, along with its flagship surface cleaner brand Sanifresh, will adopt both the ladies and gents toilets at the Janpath Markets. It will supervise to maintain overall cleaning standards. A team of volunteers will be positioned at Janpath Market to disseminate the message that a clean and Germ-free toilet is a basic hygiene need of a human being for leading a healthy life and to safeguard from common diseases. The volunteers, along with the associates from Vyapar Mandal, will encourage people to join this ambitious project to keep the city Neat & Clean.

Sanifresh has been working towards providing clean and Germ-free public toilets across the country. Earlier this year, Sanifresh had joined hands with Sulabh International and also run a massive awareness-building campaign-cum-special cleanliness drive across Sulabh public toilets. Under its programme Sanifresh 700se7kadam, the brand strives to bring an end to open defecation in rural areas. It is building toilets at an arm's reach for rural women, in line with its spirit – 'Dabur make sure you have to take only 7 steps to reach a toilet'.
