Dabur launches "Ashokarishta - Rakhe Khayal Apna Bhi" Campaign

August 18, 2021: As part of its continued efforts to promote women health care and work towards creating a healthier society, India’s largest Ayurvedic healthcare company, Dabur India Ltd., today announced a special campaign “Ashokarishta - Rakhe Khayal Apna Bhi” a health awareness campaign to promote vaccination among women. Under this Initiative, Dabur -- along with its premium women health tonic brand Dabur Ashokarishta – will encourage people to get their sisters vaccinated and celebrate this as a Raksha Bandhan gift.

Dabur India Ltd Marketing Head-Ethicals Dr. Durga Prasad said: “This is often seen that women are so busy in taking care of others and they tend to forget about their own health. In COVID -19 crises, it is noticed that there is a huge cap in male vs female vaccination ratio, especially the women vaccination ratio is very low. There are a lot of rumours like women can’t take vaccination in periods, pregnant women should not take vaccination, it effects their fertility etc. With “Ashokarishta - Rakhe Khayal Apna Bhi” campaign we would like to clear the common misconceptions about vaccination”.

As part of the campaign, Health Awareness Drive will be organized in 100 Pink Police Stations across Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Allahabad and Varanasi, where Renowned Gynecologist from the city will conduct free health camp and advise them on various health issues related to women.

We aims to cover 10 Districts with 150+ Locations and expects to reach more than 50,000 women under “Ashokarishta - Rakhe Khayal Apna Bhi” Campaign. To encourage Vaccination drive, especially among rural women, nukkad nataks will be conducted in more than 50 Locations to highlight the importance of vaccination. Apart from this, Dabur will be setting up branded waiting lounge at dedicated Women Vaccination Centres in Agra, Banda, Basti, Balia and Etah. Dr Prasad added.
