Guwahati, July 11, 2014: Dabur India Limited, India's leading packaged fruit juice maker, is honouring Guwahati's most amazing yet unsung heroes - the policemen, traffic cops, nurses and municipality workers who help keep the city safe & healthy with their selfless work. As an initiative aimed at meeting their health and nutrition needs, Dabur - along with kids from the city - are distributing packs of its packaged fruit beverage brand Real among these real life heroes.
Speaking on the occasion, Dabur India Ltd Marketing Head-Foods Mr. Praveen Jaipuriar said: "Often unsung, these heroes deserve to be saluted for the really valuable work they do to keep us safe and healthy. We want to thank all these individuals for their selfless work. They are always in front of our eyes but we fail to notice them and their contribution to the society. We are celebrating these unsung heroes in a small way by sharing a pack of Real Fruit Juice with them through school children."
In the first such exercise, packs of the nutritious Real juice are being distributed to policemen standing at the beat, traffic policemen at the signal, municipality workers collecting garbage in the streets, nurses at the hospitals, postmen delivering letters to our houses, the lineman looking after the electricity in residential localities.
"Real is a brand that promotes health and nutrition, and we have been involved in initiatives that support kids from the underprivileged sections of the society. With this new initiative, we are now taking up the cause of meeting the nutritional needs of every individual," Mr. Jaipuriar said.
The exercise comes on the heels of the recently held Real Jeevan Juice Festival, which showcased Dabur's entire packaged juice portfolio. The Real stall was inaugurated by Minister of Agriculture, Horticulture & Food Processing, who also tasted different mocktails that were prepared by the Chef using the range of Real Juices. Mocktail preparation sessions were conducted at the stall, which was really appreciated by the guests who visited the Real Jeevan Juice Festival.
