More newu stores slated for launch in coming months
New outlet to stock over 6,000 SKUs of beauty & personal care products under one roof
New Delhi, January 12, 2009: H&B Stores Ltd, the wholly owned retail subsidiary of Dabur India Ltd, today announced the launch of its new beauty, health & wellness retail store in Delhi under the newu brand. Housed in Vasant Square Mall at Vasant Kunj, the newu outlet will offer an impressive array of over 6,000 SKUs of leading international and national beauty & health brands in categories as diverse as personal care, baby care, fashion accessories and male grooming to the discerning clientele of Delhi.
The latest newu store is around 800 sq ft, and will retail a wide selection of Indian and International beauty & personal care brands under one roof. The new outlet would also mark the introduction of newu branded private label products in the baby care arena. Besides, the store is also a springboard into the Indian market for a host of new international brands, including Turkey’s Moda and QVS from Australia.
The company is planning to add another 12-15 new stores to its newu network by the end of the 2009-10 fiscal. “The newu brand has become synonymous with easy access to international and national health, beauty & wellness brands. In a short span of time, we have made our presence felt in the retail market in India. Besides offering customers the widest product selection, newu will provide them a superior, never-before shopping experience setting new standards of customer focus and service,” said Mr. Manish V Asthana, Head (North) for newu.
The store’s ‘tone and manner’ has been created to provide customers with a ‘total shopping experience’; an organized and modern interior offering a relaxed, soothing ambience for customers to discover a new world of beauty, health and wellness, in their own time.
