Contest receives over 10,000 plus entries from across Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow, January 12th, 2016: The hunt for North India’s Crowning Glory, Vatika Miss Natural, reached its pinnacle today with a glamorous Grand Finale in Lucknow, which was attended by leading celebrities from the world of films and fashion. Sakshi Raj from Jhansi was crowned Vatika Miss Natural. This marks the culmination of Vatika Miss Natural 2015, a unique beauty pageant organized by Dabur Vatika Shampoo, the leading natural personal care brand from the House of Dabur, to discover the girl with the Most Naturally Beautiful Hair.

The winner was named the digital Brand Ambassador for Dabur Vatika Shampoo. Varsha Kapoor from Lucknow emerged the First Runner-up for the contest, while Aadrika Bisen, also from Lucknow, was named the Second Runner-Up.

The contest had received an overwhelming response with over 10,000 entries from across Uttar Pradesh. After several rounds of screening and the audition held across seven cities of Uttar Pradesh, , ten 12 finalists were chosen to be groomed over the week by experts to prepare them for the Grand Finale held today.

The Grand Finale of Vatika Miss Natural 2015 was judged by an independent jury, which included Bollywood Cine Star Soha Ali Khan, Miss Asia Pacific and Femina Miss India Runner-Up Sristhi Rana, Social Activist Aparna Yadav, Fashion Designer Asma Hussain and Isabella Thoburn College Chairperson E Charles. This pageant has been organized to discover the fresh new face from the state with the most naturally beautiful hair, a face that embodies the core values of Dabur Vatika.

The star-studded evening of the Grand Finale saw the charismatic young girls dazzling the ramp showcasing a variety of dresses, followed by a Question-Answer session to impress the judges. Each of the contestants vied with each other for the coveted crown, demonstrating their beauty and brains. “This initiative is also a unique way of spreading awareness among the beauty conscious women of Uttar Pradesh, especially the young college-going girls. Hence, we had also organized in-depth grooming session for the finalists to educate them on various aspects of beauty and hair care, communications skills, ramp walking & personal grooming. As part of the consumer-connect programme, a team of Hair experts has travelled across Uttar Pradesh and interacted with the young girls, offering them tips on ‘How to take care of Hair in a natural way’ & ‘Why natural balance is important for beautiful hair and ‘’Role of Dabur Vatika Shampoo as a natural expert’,” Mr Chaudhary added.

We understand that certain unscrupulous person(s) has been demanding cash deposit(s) in certain specified bank(s) before such appointment. These people are also unauthorizedly using the name, trademarks and logo of DABUR with a view to tarnish the reputation of DABUR. They normally provide some similar website name to deposit the application form. On accessing the website, they force you to pay the online payment for submitting the form or they provide some bank details to deposit the payment. This is not the practice of DABUR or its group companies. So, please desist from doing so.

Similarly, we also came to know that some third parties are issuing the fake appointment letter for the confirm job in DABUR or in its group companies against some money. Please be aware of such fake appointment letter issued by deceptively similar company names and please note that these companies are not registered companies under the Companies Act 2013 and not having any relationship with DABUR and its group companies.

Please take note that DABUR or its group companies are not in any way connected/associated with these emails / phone call / SMS or websites and therefore cannot be held liable for the actions of either the perpetrators or their victims.
