Chennai, December 08, 2012: Hundreds of girls from Chennai made a beeline today to the Chennai Citi Centre Mall in the city flaunting their crowning glory as Dabur Amla Nelli Hair Oil hosted the Dabur Amla Miss Beautiful Black Hair of Chennai Contest. The wild card entrants were chosen by celebrity cine star and Dabur Amla Nelli Hair Oil brand ambassador Ms Sneha, at the grand finale held this evening. The top 2 contestants will get a wild card entry to the finals of the Dabur Amla Cover Girl contest, the winner of which would stand a chance to get featured as the cover girl of a women & lifestyle magazine.

 

Judging the contest, Sneha said, “I am delighted to be a part of this contest as a judge and also enthused by the great response from the lively and beautiful girls of my beloved city Chennai. The contest was kick-started 10 days back in Chennai with the Dabur Amla team visiting various prominent colleges and popular hot spots of the city promoting the contest amongst the girls. In all, more than 1,000 girls from Chennai applied to participate in the contest making it one of the biggest beauty initiatives of Chennai in recent times. The selection round was held today in the Chennai Citi Centre Mall where hundreds of participants turned up from 12 noon. A hair expert judged them in terms of the strength and blackness of their hair and 6 girls were shortlisted for the final round held at 4 PM today. Star celebrity Sneha judged the final 6 contestants to select the winner..
