- Jamun fruit - 2 cups
- Water - 2 cups
- Sugar - 3 tbsp
- Lemon juice - 3 to 4 tbsp
- Black pepper powder - ¼ tsp
- Black salt - ½ tsp
- Club soda - 1 cup
- Table salt - to line the edge of the glass (optional).
How To Make It
- Deseed the jamun fruits and keep aside.
- In a saucepan add water, sugar, jamuns and bring to a boil, let it cook until the jamuns soften completely.
- Let the mixture cool down completely and then refrigerate it for about 2 to 3 hours so that the jamun flavor intensifies in the mixture.
- Come back after 3 hours, blend the mixture well with the help of a hand blender or mixer and pass it through a fine sieve.
- Collect the remaining liquid, discard the solids.
- In the liquid, add black salt, lemon juice, black pepper powder and mix well.
- Pour out in glasses and serve chilled.
