Pomegranate Jelly Recipe

Fruit Recipe Ingredients

  • Real Fruit Power Pomegranate - 700ml
  • Orange peel - 4 strips
  • Lemon peel - 2 strips
  • Cardamom pods - 2
  • Castor sugar - 60ml
  • Gelatine - 12 leaves (or 25ml powder)
  • Mandarin segments
  • Pomegranate rubies

How To Make Pomegranate Jelly

  1. Pour the Real Fruit Power Pomegranate into a saucepan and add the peel, cardamom and sugar.
  2. Bring the mixture to boil, remove from heat and set aside to infuse for 10 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, soak the gelatine leaves in cold water until softened.
  4. Strain to remove peel and spices.
  5. Add to the warm Real Fruit Power Pomegranate and stir well to dissolve.
  6. Pour mixture into moulds or serving glasses and refrigerate.

Serving suggestion

Sprinkle a bit of black pepper to garnish as well as add a flavour to the taste.

Serve with mandarin wedges and pomegranate rubies.
