Grilled Chicken Thighs Recipe

Serves: 2-3 people


For Chicken:

  • 10-12 pieces of chicken thighs, finely cleaned and trimmed of all the excess fat
  • 1 tbsp Dabur Hommade Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1 ½ tsp crushed red pepper (chilli flakes will also work fine)
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt to taste

    For Garnish:
    • 2 whole lemons sliced into thin pieces
    • Rosemary sprigs (optional)


    To marinade the chicken:

    • Mix 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1 ½ tsp crushed red pepper or chilli flakes, 1 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil, and salt to taste, in a bowl and whisk them till they have come together
    • Make tiny gashes/slits in the chicken thighs and massage the mix the mix all over the pieces Make sure to marinade the insides of the chicken as well for the marinade to seep in and for the chicken to taste juicy and flavourful
    • Refrigerate the marinated chicken for at least an hour

    To prepare the chicken:

    • Preheat the 10 minutes before the grilling process and brush the grill tray it with oil to avoid the pieces from sticking to it
    • Take the chicken pieces out from the fridge and place it on the grill
    • Rub the chicken pieces with olive oil before starting to grilling them
    • Place the tray in the griller and allow the chicken to grill for about 5 minutes on one side before flipping it and letting it grill on the other side as well
    • Keep checking the chicken from time to time to avoid it from getting burnt
    • Once the chicken gets crispy on the outside and has attained a golden tinge, take it off the griller

    To Garnish:

    • Transfer the chicken pieces to a serving tray or bowl and garnish it with fresh rosemary sprigs and lemon slices
    • Serve while it’s still hot
