A Great Place to Work

It gives us immense pride to announce that Dabur India has been selected amongst the "25 Great Places to Work" in India for the year 2005 and has secured the 10th rank in this august list.

Amongst FMCG companies, we have secured the 1st rank. Other FMCG companies to feature in the list are Godrej Consumer Products (Rank 12th), Cadbury India (Ranked 22nd) and GSK Consumer Healthcare (25th).

This study was conducted by Grow Talent Company Limited in partnership with the Great Places to Work® Institute Inc. and Businessworld. The Great Places to Work Institute Inc. is a US based renowned research and consultancy organization, which conducts "Great Places to Work" survey across the globe every year.

For this survey, 180 companies had shown interest. The Grow Talent team conducted a nine month long study, using the same global methodology. The study, which spanned 24,750 employees, used a unique employee centric methodology to measure the levels of 'trust', 'pride' and 'camaraderie' at the workplace.

The research is special because it gives 66.66 per cent wieghtage to anonymous employee feedback collected through a confidential employee survey administered to a random sample of employees. The other 33.33 per cent wieghtage is given to a culture audit, which studies the steps companies take to build environments that enable people to give their best.

In India, the Great Places to Work survey has been conducted annually since the 2003. Dabur India Ltd participated in this survey for the first time and it is creditable that we figured in the top 10 Great Places to Work in India.
