Dabur Vatika Zee Astitva Awards:

The inspiration for the awards comes from the recognition of the strength and struggles of a woman, the effort that she takes to rise above her society and inspire her fellow women to come out of the drudge and build an identity for their own selves.

The awards shall be given in diverse fields such as contributions to the society in beauty and fashion, defense, police force, finance and banking, journalism, etc. Apart from these diverse categories, we are also felicitating the ordinary woman who is one of us. We have various awards for her as well.

Called the 'People's Award', the honor aims to recognize the women who have made a considerable contribution to the society without realizing that they have made an impact. We want to search for such torchbearers who have not perhaps even realized that their contribution has made a mark somewhere.

Award Categories

Jury Awards

To felicitate women who have made a difference in various fields and have contributed towards the upliftment of the society. These awards will encompass all the sections and strata of society where women -- solely on the base of their achievements -- have made a mark and, therefore, consciously or unconsciously have been a source of inspiration for other women as well.

People's Awards

To honor the women next door amongst us, who have stood against extremely challenging times, situations or who unconsciously, in their own little ways, have stood the test of time and emerged as winners. The people's award is an ode to those women in the country who probably have never made it to the headlines of a newspaper, but in their own simple ways have achieved enough to give a special meaning to their existence. The award is not based on the magnitude of the task, but on the effect it has created.
